Delta Faucet Dryden 3-Hole Widespread Bathroom Sink Faucet with Metal Drain Assembly in Chrome (Model 3551LF) - Perfect for Modern Bathroom Vanities and Powder Rooms

The faucet itself is well made of heavy duty materials. Fit and finish appears to be flawless. It is looks great with the granite countertop.Deducted one star due to the poor design of the drain pop-up/stopper pivot rod assembly. It has a tendency to drag across the nylon water supply tube connector that delivers water to the spout. This outdated design works well with the standard 4 inch lavatory faucets which have more room to accommodate the assembly . A better solution needs to be engineered at this price point. My American Standard and Pfister faucets do a better job of this. I was able to get it installed and working properly after a lot of trial and error. It will likeky need to be redone at some point in the future.Another star was deducted for not including nut extenders for thick counter tops that are common today. The extended nuts required a special order and added another $20 to the cost.Finally a comment regarding widespread faucets in general. This will be the last widespread (8 inch) lavatory faucet I purchase. The design requires the use of reinforced plastic tubing, rubber "O" rings, and push on nylon connectors to deliver water to the spout. Its that plastic tubing that allows the faucet handles to be spread 8 inches apart. The old 4 inch faucets take care of the hot/cold water mixing and delivery of the water to the spout using copper tubing inside the assembly.I was replacing a Dryden that was installed in 2012 with this one. Even though they are both Dryden, this one was upgraded in every way. Super easy to install. Took me longer to uninstall the old one. Very pleased with the upgrade. Just hoping this one lasts longer than 8 years. The old one started leaking out of the top of the cold handle when turned on.These are the perfect handles for any bathroom. If your water is hard in any way, oil rubbed bronze fixtures can be a problem, but these lack the seams that deteriorate and are built very sturdy. They have really improved the look of my bathroom. While doing research before I began my bathroom remodels, I learned that faucets bought from a big box store, and ones bought from a plumbing store will look the same on the outside, but not be identical. Many times you will notice a slight difference in the SKU or model number. Where a big box line may have plastic workings inside, the more expensive version will have metal. I was told that longevity is the main difference in them. This model is the same as the models at the online plumbing stores. I particularly like them with the square Kohler sinks that I bought on Amazon.Gorgeous and minimal spotting (easily wipes up with dry towel). The price is much more than I wanted to spend but I was looking for this finish for a Delta widespread faucet so didn't have many options in the price range I preferred. My BIGGEST complaint is that I had to spend another $20+ for an extension kit to get it to install correctly since it will not install as-is on a standard granite or marble sink - - that is really ridiculous! I have a copper bowl and didn't want a bronze faucet like you typically see paired with, I wanted something more elegant so I went with the polished nickel and I love itThe faucet looks just like the pic and it is nice quality. We installed this in our master bathroom. Since installing this faucet, I realized that I don't like harshness of the square design of the faucet. The faucet doesn't feel good at all when I'm trying to clean the sink and faucet. I prefer rounder furnishings in the bathroom, less uncomfortable. Live and learn. I would not purchase this square faucet for a bathroom with children.I purchased two of these for the same bathroom—after six years I noticed discoloration at the base of one spout, then a chip in the finish at the base of the handle—only on one, mind you—they requested pictures, I sent them pics of that one and the undamaged set—they offered a 25% discount for a new one saying I had cleaned it with the wrong cleaner—I clean them both with the same product.Bought these fixtures for the bathroom remodels in my new condo. I bought the bath/shower fixtures to match and they are gorgeous! I bought chrome finish and they add a really rich, luxurious feel to the bathroom.I love these fixtures! They are exactly what I envisioned for my master bath renovation. I purchased two sets for our vanity. Thtey’re made of solid brass and are great quality. I’m so, so pleased.Initially purchased this faucet for our newly renovated powder room - works well with our new modern / contemporary décor - appears to be of good quality - we liked the look so much we purchased two more for our newly renovated master bathroom - just installed the faucets a few days ago - I would have given it 5 stars; however the push in button covers that are to conceal the set screw in the handles were missing from the packagesCan anyone at Amazon help direct me on who I have to contact to order these missing parts - the model number of the faucet is Delta 3551LF series Dryden and the push in button covers part number is #RP52658Nice set, good quality I expected from Delta, BUT be aware if mounting directly to granite or quartz counter top that you will need the additional thick deck mounting kit Delta sells separate. This should be more clearly disclaimed by Delta that if installing this on any counter top more than 3/4" thick the kit is mandatory.We are absolutely delighted with our new Dryden two handle widespread lavaatory faucet (chrome). It is elegant but also very modern feeling. We could not ask for a better set and have purchased more Dryden for our other bathrooms and everyone comments on how lovely they look.Beautiful... and easy to install!Would recommend this fixture to anyone. Just wish it was slightly larger.The easy connect tubes are super easy to installBy far the best quality faucet I've purchased! Will be purchasing the rest of this line!
