Stanford 3-Light Bronze Bathroom Vanity Light Fixture - Modern Lighting for Bathroom, Powder Room & Dressing Area

I ordered and installed three of the Vaxcel three-lamp bathroom vanity fixtures in Antique Brass finish. Quality is very good--all components seem well-made. For example, the shades are made of heavy glass and are really attractive. The fixtures are labeled as suitable for damp locations, which fits a bathroom environment. The product specs in Amazon.com list the fixtures as "Up/Down" lighting direction, however the fixtures themselves are labeled "this side up" (with the shades open downward). The Amazon.com illustration shows a warm glow near the top of the shades, but a standard (size A19) lightbulb protrudes somewhat from the bottom of each shade. This makes standard bulbs more visible than I assumed they would be and was a disappointment at first. However, by substituting smaller (size A15) "decorative" bulbs the problem is solved and the result is every bit as appealing as I had hoped for. One of the socket holders is a bit off-level, but no one will notice but me. Regarding installation, the manufacturer thoughtfully includes wire connectors among the parts as well as two lengths of mounting screws for different set-ups. The mounting plate did not fit my wall box as illustrated in the instructions (which are fairly clear), but I was able to adapt it satisfactorily. In sum, my experience with this product has been positive and I can recommend it.
